What We Need

NetBrain is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our thriving legal team in a full time remote position. This ideal candidate has a JD with several years of post law school experience, some of which would ideally be in an in-house capacity with a SaaS company. In this role you will partner with our sales organization on six and seven figure transactions with large enterprise customers. This is a highly impactful role working closely with our General Counsel. We're looking for somebody who is agile and does well in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

You will manage, advise on and negotiate complex legal and business transactions including licenses, partnership agreements, channel agreements, etc.

Lead a business focused legal function, contributing to the strategy of the business and driving performance.

Influence, evaluate, and effectively manage timely and cost efficient outside legal counsel services and expert advisors as needed.

Support business operations and provide direction and counsel regarding compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and staying abreast of laws, legislative developments and developing external trends.

Advise Human Resources on employment law matters to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.

Advise and counsel on equity and tax issues and regulations, including assessment and advice on current and future business structures and legal entities.

Maintain responsibility for and manage all aspects of the ethics and corporate compliance function.

Manage the intellectual property portfolio, including trademark and copyright registration and protection, and patent matters.

Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.

Who You Are

Juris Doctor (JD) degree or its equivalent.

Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state or relevant jurisdiction.

3-6 years post-law school experience.

Time in-house at a software or SaaS company preferred.

Experience working on commercial transactions with a global sales team.

Knowledge of GDPR and other data privacy laws.

What We Offer

Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus & Stock Options. The actual salary may vary based on a range of factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
