Civil Litigation Trial Attorney - Criminal Prosecution Experience
This distinguished national law firm based in Tucker, GA is actively seeking a Civil Litigation Trial Attorney with extensive experience in criminal prosecution. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for a skilled former prosecutor looking to delve into civil litigation, leveraging their expertise in civilian warrant applications within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Compensation:
$125,000.00 - $150,000.00 plus quarterly incentive bonuses and year-end discretionary bonus based on performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, contract disputes, and property disputes.
Lead legal research and analysis to craft robust case strategies and maintain compliance with evolving laws and regulations.
Represent clients in a variety of forums, including court hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
Draft and review critical legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
Provide expert consultations to clients regarding their legal rights, obligations, and strategies to secure optimal case outcomes.
Specialize in civilian warrant applications, offering unique insights and expertise in this area.
Foster a collaborative work environment by teaming up with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
Commit to ongoing professional development to stay abreast of changes in civil litigation and criminal law.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in criminal prosecution with significant exposure to civilian warrant applications.
Proven ability to manage a high caseload and work effectively under pressure.
Excellent analytical and organization skills, with high ethical standards and professional integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in civil litigation and an established track record in trial settings.
Comprehensive knowledge of civil law and procedure.
Demonstrated proficiency in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Skills:
Exceptional analytical and research abilities.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Skilled in drafting legal documents and case management.
Strong courtroom presence and adept in negotiation.
Effectively work independently and within team settings.
