This role involves managing a comprehensive caseload, from initial client consultation through all phases of litigation, including trial, settlement, and appeal.ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability claims.Conduct comprehensive case assessments to identify legal issues, evaluate possible outcomes, and devise effective litigation strategies.Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and court proceedings.Present oral arguments in court and advocate for clients at trial, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.Collaborate closely with clients, claims professionals, and other members of the legal team to ensure effective case management.Stay abreast of current legal trends and developments in the field of insurance defense litigation.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 3 years of experience in insurance defense civil litigation.Proven track record of successfully defending clients in insurance-related disputes.Comprehensive knowledge of insurance coverage laws, rules, and regulations.Superior litigation skills, including experience with trial preparation, courtroom advocacy, and dispute resolution.Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex legal arguments.High degree of professional ethics and integrity.Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.Proficiency with legal research tools and software.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to take their career to the next level.
