What You'll Be Doing:Provide legal guidance to senior management, including the executive committee, in matters including company policies, regulatory compliance and other matters described above, demonstrating an ability to handle complex matters without supervision. Interact and support all other internal departments and regions (i.e. Finance, IT, Tax, Treasury and Sales).Responsible for management of all matters pertaining to active litigation in concert with retained outside counsel, including fact-finding and analysis; case assessment; e-discovery; witness preparation; review, editing and approval of pleadings; and strategy for dispositive motions or trial.Facilitate and oversee dispute resolution, which includes active participation in dispute resolution conferences, and negotiation and review of settlement agreements.Recognized as an expert within the organization, both within and beyond own function.Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, strategies and the litigation process.Anticipates internal and/or external legal or business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvement to minimize exposure or pursue opportunities.Maintains global matter management program, including litigation tracking and reporting, review of spend management and external counsel retention tracking. Provides substantive reporting on these data points to appropriate internal stakeholders.Perform internal investigations and identify and gather evidence.Manage the legal hold process and ensure compliance with legal holds, protective orders, and e-discovery requirements.Response to pre-litigation inquiries and demands, third party requests and demands (for example, subpoenas, collections, internal and external audits)Negotiates, drafts and reviews contracts, including vendor, distribution, customer, licensing, employment, real property leases and conveyance agreements.Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.Contributes to the development of functional strategy.Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.Maintains details case files including internal shared notes and communications, formal and informal presentations to business leaders and external stakeholders, and project plans and status updates.Contributes to internal training and enrichment programs for Legal Department and business stakeholders.What We Are Looking For:Typically requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of related experience and Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school.Licensed to practice by a US state bar associationExcellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, judgment and integrity.Proactive and independent worker, with a strong desire to solve problems.Work Arrangement:Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days work from homeWhat’s In It For You:At Arrow, we recognize that financial rewards and great benefits are important aspects of an ideal job.
