What we're looking for:

The Director Sourcing is a high-level leader responsible for overseeing aspects of the Sourcing function, including strategic planning, supplier management, and process optimization. This role involves team management and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business goals and customer needs.

What you'll do:

This Sourcing leader manages the strategy for our recycled material categories (for example, post-consumer and/or post-industrial PET beverage bottles and scrap foam). This role is critical to the partnership with our manufacturing and sustainability teams.

Drive initiatives to optimize costs, enhance supplier performance, and ensure a resilient supply chain.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and terms.

Oversee the evaluation and selection of suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing operations.

Utilize data and analytics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Assess and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities, ensuring business continuity and compliance.

Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.

Manage the Sourcing budget, ensuring effective cost control and adherence to financial objectives.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to sourcing costs and savings.

Perform other duties as needed.

What you have:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

10+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of management experience.
