Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The North American Talent and Organization Development Director is part of the Region HR team. This position reports to the HR Vice President for the North America Region.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement the Talent and Organization Development (TOD) strategy for the region.

Conduct talent needs assessments to identify organizational, functional and individual learning and development opportunities for the specific functions.

Lead People Review and Key Reservoir Review processes including succession planning, career development processes and overall talent management action plans.

Provide HR leadership in the Strategic Planning Process.

Manage country-wide performance review and objective setting processes.

Ensure strong succession plans for top leadership positions and bench of talent for ready-now successors.

Lead potential identification validation and management.

Facilitate internal mobility, cross-functional moves, and career development discussions.

Ensure that talent development tools are properly used to promote functional and geographic mobility at all levels.

Provide leadership for mentoring, coaching and early career programs.

Coach, develop and empower management and HR team on talent development topics and provide KPI’s, indicators and feedback in order to align organizational decisions to business needs.

Propose and lead short, medium- and long-term HR action plans that support Talent Development strategies.

Coach & Mentor employees and leadership on all aspects of Performance Management & People Development.

Lead Diversity and Inclusion and engagement initiatives across the organization.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Knowledge / Skills:

Familiar with HR Information systems (SuccessFactors experience a plus).

Strong in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

International mindset.

Results oriented.

Strong written and oral communications skills.

Data and KPI driven.

Education / Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.

Master’s Degree preferred.

Minimum 10 years experience in Human Resources leadership roles.

Candidates with both HRBP and Talent Development experience a plus.

Experience leading and creating talent management processes and programs.

Experience managing in a global environment.
