Position SummaryThe Senior HRIS Compensation Analyst plays a vital role in enhancing our organization’s compensation strategy through a blend of analytical expertise, systems management, and administrative proficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of HR information systems (HRIS) and the ability to optimize these systems to ensure efficient compensation processes. The ideal candidate will provide strategic insights while managing the administrative functions that support accurate and equitable compensation practices across the organization.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HRIS Compensation Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our HR information systems and compensation strategies.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Compensation & Variable Compensation:
Manage the administration of compensation processes and cycles within the HRIS, ensuring that all compensation plans and configuration are accurate, up-to-date, and approved by the Comp. COE particularly the end-to-end management of the annual compensation merit and bonus cycle.
HRIS Management:
Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the HRIS compensation module, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and seamless integration with other HR processes. Manage 3rd party delivery of services.
System Analysis:
Conduct in-depth analyses of HRIS functionalities to identify areas for improvement, recommend enhancements, and implement changes that streamline compensation processes and reporting. Evaluate new features and functionality with each release of the SuccessFactors compensation module and recommend enhancements.
Compensation Analysis:
Support the Compensation COE with analyses of compensation data, improvements to enhance HRIS capabilities, create or modify plans, etc.
Reporting & Metrics:
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide insights into compensation trends, facilitating effective management reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Compensation COE, the business superusers and Finance teams to provide accrual reports, payment reports, compensation-related insights and support strategic initiatives.
Employee Education:
Provide training and resources to HR teams and managers regarding HRIS functionalities and compensation structures, enhancing overall understanding and utilization of the system.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation programs and HRIS functionalities, ensuring streamlined operations.
Production Support:
Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems or unexpected results, requests and problems. Perform scheduled activities and reports for cyclical activities. Coordinate with 3rd party support providers on solutions. Communicate status and resolutions to users.
Individual Development:
Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS. Continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
Flexibility:
Willingness to learn and provide support in other areas of HRIS system such as LMS, Performance etc. This is a full-time position, and flexibility is required to meet the expectations of global HR team.
Education, Specialized/Technical Knowledge, or Required SkillsRequired:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS management, system analysis, and compensation analysis, preferably in a corporate setting.
Proficiency with SuccessFactors HR application, including compensation modules, and a strong understanding of its functionalities.
Proven experience in SuccessFactors implementation, configuration, and management.
Excellent understanding of compensation principles, pay structures, and administration.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and HRIS software.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (with extensive experience in and knowledge of formulas and functions, VLOOKUP, pivot tables and charts).
Preferred:
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, GRP) preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning/follow-up skills.
Ability to take ownership of problems and use initiative to resolve.
Team-player in the planning and implementation of multiple projects with different deadlines under pressure and ability to handle changing priorities.
Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Ability to work effectively with a hybrid team across multiple time zones and locations. This is a full-time role and flexibility required to meet the expectations of global HR team.
