Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manages the Cell Biology activity for fruity crops in AMPAEnsure implementation of new protocols in Cell Biology in collaboration with Discovery teams.Contribute to the design, development and implementation of required IT tools.Contribute to the Cell Biology application network across regions and crops.Manage Cell Biology activities and plant production in AMPA in alignment with breeding and other customers’ requirements.Ensure productivity and cost efficiency for plant production in accordance with requested quality, timeline and quantities.Contribute to the elaboration of the global strategy for activities in Cell Biology and ensure its implementation in AMPAMonitor KPI and identify needs for improvement.Manage the team, assign and oversee key objectives for the activity. Recruit employees.Ensure laboratory, infrastructure and equipment good order and maintenance for optimal production and research activities.Ensure respect of workplace safety rules, regulations, standards and practices.Manage supply and labor expenses in accordance with budget allocated.Contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate IT Tools for Cell Biology activity management.Ensure harmonization of practices and technologies across teams in Cell Biology.

Excellent technical competencies in Cell Biology, good knowledge in plant science.Capacity to manage individuals and dedicated activities in Cell Biology.Ability to translate general directions into operational directions for the team.Ability to organize teamwork, and to direct work of others with the result in mind.Analytical mind and capacity to synthesize and present teamwork.Ability to bring new ideas and make proposals.Understanding of continuous improvement concepts.Advanced English level.

To be considered, you will need:

Master’s degree with 5 years’ experience in Cell biology activity management or bachelor’s degree with 10 years of related experience.English is preferred, French is a plus.

Competitive salaryThis position’s range is

$85,000 - $95,000

Our total compensation and pay ranges reflect our market pay structures. As such, individual salaries or hourly rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local geographical market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as job related skills, education, and experience.
