Job DescriptionPOSITION DESCRIPTION:The Psychology Department at Montclair State University is pleased to invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Clinical Psychology, to begin in September 2025. We are seeking a dynamic colleague to join the collaborative core and associated faculty of our PhD and MA programs in clinical psychology. Area of research specialization is open, although we have a preference for candidates whose research specialty is relevant to clinical neuropsychology and can lend to the Department’s strengths in neuroscience and cognition and the popularity of neuropsychology among clinical psychology students. Responsibilities include teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels; conducting an active research program; mentoring undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students; contributing to ongoing administration and strengthening of our graduate programs in clinical psychology; and providing service to the University and professional community.QUALIFICATIONS:Applicants must have a PhD in clinical psychology or other area of health service psychology by the start of the position. Applicants should be licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching, research productivity commensurate with experience, and the potential to attract extramural funding.SALARY RANGE:
