JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS
PURPOSE
The Technical Director is responsible for the overall coordination and administration of the Live Production department overseeing staff/volunteers who operate the following: Audio, Lighting, ProPresenter, Livestream, Cameras, Switcher, Ultra Studio 4K, Smart Video Hub, ATEM 2M/E Production Studio 4K as well as oversight to all production volunteers.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Manage audio and visual live production for online and in-person services.
Maintain all media equipment to ensure they are working properly and schedule necessary maintenance.
Schedule, manage, and care for the live production volunteers.
Approve all videos and broadcasts prior to being shown. Make necessary recommendations/edits as needed.
Support the Creative Arts Director to improve services, drive creativity, and execute new ideas/technology.
Monitor Livestream to ensure the highest quality.
Troubleshoot any live production challenges that arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with Blackmagic Video System.
Experience in a live production atmosphere.
Knowledge of ProPresenter.
Experience with Livestream.
Love for God and people.
Attitude of a servant, enjoyable to be with, and devoted to the call of God and the Church.
Knowledge of general cleaning and maintenance.
Prior experience with cleaning materials, equipment, and supplies.
Must be willing to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Must always practice proper lifting and workplace safety.
Attend safety training classes.
Excellent work ethic, protective, and frugal with time and money.
Ability and desire to work with a spirit of excellence.
Self-motivated.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Must be able to set and achieve goals.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks.
Ability to maintain a good attitude in difficult situations.
Willingness to continually learn.
Willingness to adapt to last-minute changes in the regular schedule.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Willingness to work with other departments.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences for personal, professional, and leadership development.
