Job DescriptionSUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking an experienced Training and Standardization Lead within the Shared Services Accounts Payable Department to support the departmental training and improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will be self-directed to identify and bring forward suggestions for the full development cycle, from ideation to implementation. The Training and Standardization Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications, learning plans and process improvement strategies that align with the renewed focus of the department. They are expected to ensure that staff at all levels have the capacity (knowledge, skills, tools, and resources) to successfully operate in the future state. The Lead retains overall responsibility for developing, implementing and maintaining a scalable training program that encourages overall process improvement and provides the flexibility needed to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

General tasks and responsibilities will include:

Coordinating the development, execution, refinement, and measuring the impact of training, communications, and knowledge management strategies.

Collaborate with NYC H+H Workforce Development team on Accounts Payable-related system-wide trainings.

Work across the Accounts Payable department to organize and facilitate training and learning opportunities.

Supporting the development of training/learning materials focused on overall process improvement.

Overseeing the production, distribution, testing, and refinement of materials and content to inform AP staff.

Identifying the need for and developing ad hoc trainings as needed.

Partner with customer service and functional teams, internal/external stakeholders, and leadership team to identify and prioritize issues and process improvement opportunities.

Develop a detailed understanding of operational processes and supporting systems.

Build and maintain comprehensive process documentation and trainings for end users.

Provides direction and oversight to project teams to design and implement solutions that meet applicable business requirements.

Measure process improvement benefits after changes are implemented.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Public Health, Psychology, Personnel Administration, Management, Public Administration or related approved discipline; and,2. Six years of progressively responsible experience in planning and manpower development and training programs, medical or public health administration or other fields related to training, development and manpower analysis, of which at least two years shall have been in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity related to the organization, formulation, development and implementation of such plans and programs; or,3. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Management, Social Work, Medical Administration, Psychology, Personnel Administration, Public Administration or a related approved field with five years of experience as described in (2) and two years in a supervisory, managerial or administrative capacity;4. Extensive knowledge of the principles of training and manpower development programs and the ability to analyze and determine the needs of the Corporation, Network or facility; or,5. A satisfactory combination of training, education and experience indicating the ability to perform satisfactorily.
