We're looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to join a team tasked with automating and bringing efficiencies to product delivery on the Azure platform.The Execution Machine Learning team works closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to design and implement the next-generation retail solutions. Data Science team members are tasked with turning both small, sparse, and massive data into actionable insights with measurable improvements to the customer bottom line. They use rigorous analysis and repeatable processes to implement black box and interpretable models.Our machine learning platform ingests data in real-time, processes information from millions of retail items to serve deep learning models, and produces billions of predictions daily.Scope:Experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based solutions with Azure.Provide standardized enterprise solutions for cloud infrastructure and application deployment across multiple clouds.Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance, and operability in mind.Design, Develop, and maintain CI/CD process for enterprise SaaS using tools like Git, GitHub, Artifactory, etc.Hands-on experience in building and administering VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience on Terraform to automate the deployment of a multi-tier application across both Azure and GCP.Write, test, and maintain Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning of infrastructure.Hands-on experience in GitHub actions & Python Scripting.Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.Our current technical environment:Software/Tools: K8S, Docker, GIT, Git Actions, Python, React, GCP/Azure.Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event-driven, secure multi-tenant, Microservices architecture, Cloud Architecture: GCP/Azure.Frameworks/Others: Snowflake, Big Query, Postgres.What you'll do:Led the design and implementation of enterprise-level DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code.Design, Develop, and maintain CI/CD process for enterprise SaaS using tools like Git Actions, Artifactory, etc.Hands-on experience in building and administering VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.Responsible for maintaining/Enhancing existing scripts for Infrastructure deployment using Git Actions, Python/Shell scripting, and Azure CLI.Investigate and resolve technical issues in development, test, and production environments.Design and Develop the test automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline.Implement monitoring, logging, and reporting tools to provide visibility into our systems.Ability to work independently, develop, and adhere to best-known coding practices with strong problem-solving skills.Responsible for deploying the application and infrastructure deployment for QA, Dev, and PSR environments.Closely work with the Dev team to troubleshoot environment-specific issues and provide a resolution. Responsible for onboarding new Products/customers to Azure cloud.Implement security best practices across all aspects of DevOps processes.What we are looking for:Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in a large-scale environment.Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) and minimum 7 years of experience in the DevOps domain; ideally a candidate that has started as a Software Engineer and progressed to Lead Software Engineer in DevOps.Minimum of five years working with source control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure Repositories).Minimum of five years of experience working with Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or relevant technologies.Minimum of two years of supporting DevOps practices.Minimum of two years of public cloud experience (preferably Azure, NO AWS).Experience with monitoring tools (Monitoring: AppDynamics/Prometheus/Grafana/ELK).Strong Scripting knowledge of Shell/Python.Core understanding of virtualization, private, hybrid, and public cloud computing concepts.Well-experienced in key areas such as Cloud Services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS on major cloud hosting platforms (GCP/Azure), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code toolset.Strong systems platform skills in Windows and Linux.Excellent team player and work with a go-get attitude.Should have good communication skills and effectively work with stakeholders and team as well.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Possible salary range for this role:
$99,208 - $142,896The salary range information provided reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
