Your work will be pivotal in redefining the future of information technology.

Responsibilities

Align with all safety protocols and complete the required safety items.

Document procedures, transfer developed processes, and communicate results with senior management team and manufacturing partners.

Work jointly with equipment vendors to improve equipment design, test new equipment, and drive process improvements.

Optimize cell yield improvement, failure analysis, and device performance through advanced process techniques.

Improve cycle time, address capacity-related issues, and decrease costs.

Document and communicate plans, status, and results of R&D projects in written reports and presentations, including the analysis and interpretation of data.

Collaborate across multiple groups, including process integration, process areas, design team, manufacturing, and equipment development teams.

Review all types of literature to identify potential intellectual property opportunities and file disclosures.

Understanding or Experience with:

Principles and application of immersion lithography, polarized illumination, and low k1 imaging.

Chemical processes specific to lithography, including materials for 365, 248, and 193nm lithography.

Lithography simulation software and its application to low k1 imaging.

Material properties and characterization techniques of lithography.

Research and development skills to build production-worthy technologies.

Balancing multiple tasks simultaneously and reacting to shifting priorities to meet business needs.

Developing and maintaining relations with multi-functional teams and vendors.

Architectural structure of Micron’s memory products, semiconductor process flows, and steps.

Project management tools and techniques.

Strong interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation).

Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Education and Experience

M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another relevant technical degree.

5+ years of proven experience in a Photo Overlay role.
