Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented
Conflicts Attorney
with hands-on experience in conflicts clearance and risk management, specifically utilizing
Intapp
or
Aderant
systems. The Conflicts Attorney will be responsible for analyzing and resolving complex legal conflicts, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards, and supporting new business intake processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal ethics, conflict-of-interest rules, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position is remote 3 days per week.Responsibilities:Conflict Analysis & Clearance :Conduct comprehensive conflict-of-interest checks using
Intapp
or
Aderant
software.Analyze results and identify potential conflicts involving current clients, matters, and incoming lateral hires.Communicate effectively with partners and attorneys to resolve conflicts, providing advice on conflict waivers or ethical walls.New Business Intake :Support new matter intake by reviewing conflict reports and making recommendations regarding client or matter acceptance.Collaborate with firm leadership and partners to clear conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.Risk Management & Compliance :Ensure compliance with applicable legal ethics rules, including Model Rules of Professional Conduct, and other firm policies.Develop and implement conflict management strategies, and maintain accurate documentation of conflict clearance efforts.Provide guidance to firm staff on conflict-related issues, client relationships, and ethical compliance.Software Expertise :Utilize
Intapp
or
Aderant
to perform conflict searches, generate reports, and maintain database integrity.Collaborate with IT or database management teams to troubleshoot any software-related issues and enhance system capabilities.Training & Support :Provide ongoing training to attorneys and support staff on conflicts of interest processes and the use of conflicts software.Stay up to date with legal technology trends, especially those related to conflicts management and risk.Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 a year
