Our busy hotel is looking for a stellar director of sales and marketing to create a revenue strategy that maximizes profitability for everyday sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events. We need someone ready to be the voice of our brand and manage the marketing budget to enable the development of property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral to generate revenue and meet property targets. If this sounds like you, apply now!ResponsibilitiesMeet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies.Develop and train your team to better serve your customers.Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand.Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other methods.Produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies.QualificationsThorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department.High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or hospitality.Minimum of 5 or more years experience in sales and marketing with some experience in sales management.Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Compensation$45,000 - $50,000 yearlyAbout Fairfield Inn & Suites- Savannah MidtownEncore Hospitality is devoted to bringing the highest quality, marketability, and functionality to the hotel and restaurant industries.
