POSITION SUMMARY

The Funding Director will manage grants and government contracts for Blueprint University. This role is crucial for securing funding that supports our mission and growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in grant writing, government contracting, and managing funding programs to drive financial sustainability and strategic initiatives.

OBJECTIVES

Secure Funding: Obtain $2 million in grants and contracts within the first year.

Increase Success Rate: Achieve a 20% increase in successful grant applications.

Strategic Partnerships: Establish 5 new partnerships with government agencies and stakeholders.

Research Opportunities: Identify and research new grant and contract opportunities.

Write Proposals: Prepare and submit high-quality grant applications and proposals.

Manage Deliverables: Ensure project management and compliance.

Lead Audits: Conduct audits and initiate quality improvement processes.

Develop KPIs: Track performance and translate data into goals.

COMPETENCIES

Grant Writing: Secure $2 million through grant proposals and contracts.

Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely completion.

Strategic Planning: Increase grant application success rate by 20%.

Relationship Building: Establish 5 strategic partnerships.

Manage Awards: Ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Monitor Performance: Track and report project outcomes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field.

5-10 years of experience in grant writing and government contracting.

Proven track record in securing and managing significant funding.

Experience in the education or nonprofit sector is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Ability to travel as needed.
