NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEERThe Select Group is currently hiring for a Network Security Engineer to join as a resource for one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will be sitting in North West Palm Beach/Juno Beach, FL. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure which includes LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, as well as managing network security measures. The main focus of this role will be working on a Palo Alto SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) deployment, incorporating SD-WAN and PRISMA solutions and will be involved in configuring and managing the Palo Alto stack. NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:Must possess at least 4+ years of Network Engineering and Administration Experience using network technologies: (Switches, Routers, Firewalls), (Wireless Access, VoIP), (LAN, WAN, VLAN)Experience architecting, engineering and supporting cloud networksHands-on experience with

Palo Alto firewalls

and

Panorama management systemExperience implementing and managing SD-WAN solutions (preferably Palo Alto)Familiarity with Palo Alto's PRISMA cloud security suiteComprehensive working knowledge of Linux operating systems, especially process and system monitoring facilities – Specifically, Red Hat/Centos/Ubuntu/DebianPLUS SKILLS:Fluency in at least one scripting language, shell scriptingExperience developing automation tools and frameworks for performance measurement and analysisCertifications:

Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:Installs new, or rebuilds existing, network hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirementsTroubleshooting as required, leading problem-solving efforts with outside vendors, other technical personnel and/or organizationsProject management functions including managing the installation of new virtual networks and other special projectsDaily network monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all network resources, systems and key processes, reviewing network and application logs. Ongoing network performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimizationConfigure various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls) per specifications assigned for the project/customerDefine, label and document firewall rulesTSG is an equal opportunity employer.
