As a Security Cooperation Planner, you’ll bring your strategic planning expertise to work on projects for U.S. Southern Command. You’ll research DoD and Combatant Commander policy, guidance, and strategy to analyze significant security cooperation initiatives that achieve priority security outcomes. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex policies, legislative authorities, resourcing processes, and plans as part of the joint security cooperation planning and building partner capacity mission.
You’ll guide the work we do for the security cooperation mission and the solutions we deliver for defense security cooperation planning.
You Have:
3 years of experience with Security Cooperation planning
Knowledge of congressional authorities to conduct security assistance and security cooperation programs and activities with foreign partners
Ability to communicate at an executive level
Ability to provide in-person support to the client
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with supporting a Combatant Command, Service Component Command, and Military and Service equivalents
Knowledge of Title 10 Significant Security Cooperation Initiative-centric planning processes
Master's degree
Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
