IntroductionAs the AI Sales Specialist, your responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business to existing and new clients in your territory.The Sales Representative brings competencies and value propositions to their clients and uses all the organization to solve client problems with appropriate automation solutions.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an AI Sales Specialist, you will work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry-leading AI solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.Your responsibilities include:Prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business to existing and new clients in your territory.Bringing competencies and value propositions to clients and using all the organization to solve client problems with appropriate AI solutions.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseIn-depth business development, sales, and/or consultant experience.Strong collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to lead the collaborative process with both client leadership and IBM's sales leadership.Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills at all levels of an organization.Strong background in Cloud and Data and AI solutions.Driven and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence in everything they do.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseProven ability to articulate and deliver compelling, industry-focused solutions and value in one or more of the following strategic industries: Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Travel, or Transportation.In-depth knowledge of the market to connect market trends to the IBM Data and AI portfolio to position compelling transformation solutions to clients.About Business UnitIBM has a global presence, operating in more than 175 countries with a broad-based geographic distribution of revenue.
