is responsible for creating compelling visual concepts that bring marketing messages to life. will be able to provide support with the following:Responsibilities:Be a key Marketing contributor who conceptualizes and designs marketing materials and imagery across a variety of media.Lead collateral design projects from concept through production and distribution.Assess the objectives of marketing/communication initiatives, determine project requirements, and recommend resources, budgets, and schedules needed to produce deliverables.Translate project needs into high-quality design elements for marketing collateral.Prepare design drafts and present visual ideas for review, revision, and approval.Generate new and original design ideas within the parameters of the business/program objectives.Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Marketing Operations teams to ensure brand and product visual consistency for content that engages our audience and supports marketing goals.Promote, adhere, and evolve the organization's brand, brand guidelines, and visual identity.Brainstorm with stakeholders to create visual designs that promote Mizuho OSI’s mission and brand and shepherd the design concepts through the collateral development and production processes.Work in close collaboration with Content Marketing on graphics needs for social media and other online applications.Work in close collaboration with Product Management on product collateral needs and rebranding efforts.Create marketing campaign concepts and design deliverables for medical congresses, industry events, and tradeshows.Support ad hoc graphic needs across the organization for items such as photo editing, packaging, resizing, and repurposing assets.Maintain and organize design assets, files, and project documentation.Evaluate and recommend systems and processes to label, store, and find digital and photo assets.Collaborate with web platform provider to resolve website design issues and address various internal and external stakeholder needs for the web.Prepare charts, graphs, forms, and other tools (both print and electronic) to convey product or technical information more clearly as required.Complete and submit accurate expense reports according to the Expense Policy.Adhere to product FDA online marketing guidelines in all material created and posted. In addition, adhere to applicable GMP and ISO 13485 processes and procedures.Understand Mizuho OSI’s business objectives and the relationship between the Department and those objectives; to support and follow the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements, to maintain the services and quality levels set by Mizuho OSI, and to continually enable Mizuho OSI to be a great place to work.Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures, and work instructions, including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards).Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphics design or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of work experience in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or related field is required; medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry highly desirable.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools and editing software is essential.Proficiency in using content management systems and marketing automation tools is desirable.Working knowledge of HTML and motion graphics preferred.Creative thinking capabilities to generate innovative designs, with an understanding of the medical device regulatory requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.Ability to clearly express oneself verbally in English (additional languages also preferred) effectively with employees and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.Ability to clearly and effectively express oneself through written means, to properly use such technical factors as grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and correct spelling.Excellent Computer Skills, including Microsoft products of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.Proven track record of operating in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency.Ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.Ability to manage vendors and budgets.Salary Range: $63,000 - $113,000 + potential annual bonus + comprehensive benefits package
