We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Expert IT Systems within our IT Well Life Cycle group based in Houston, Texas or The Woodlands, TX. Provide strong support for in house custom applications (WEP, WIRED, CNC, OBO) - Provide strong support for vendor application (STIBO STEP) - Proactively identify opportunities and implement enhancements to improve system and business processes to support the goals and objectives of Oxy. - Continuous engagement and communication with business stakeholders - Foster a climate that supports relationship building and collaboration between business and IT - Apply good data security practices across applications and domains - Support and comply with all audit requests, controls, and procedures - Develop documentation, Knowledge Articles, Standards, Best Practices, and Procedures as applicable - Designing and maintaining business-focused analytics and reports. - Working with Oxy IT and external service providers to implement system or database updates. - Encourage business adoption through regular training and feedback sessions. - Engage in monthly meetings and actively communicate with operations teams - Work collaboratively with other teams such as IT, business stakeholders and data management to analyze Oxy data and make corrections as needed. - Responsible for ensuring the quality of data used for analysis and business making decisions. - Keen eye for details and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in the dataAbout the company
