We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Expert IT Systems within our IT Subsurface - Reservoir Management and Reserves group based in Houston, TX. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support in installing, integrating, monitoring, and maintaining technical applications related to reservoir management and reserves. - Identify and troubleshoot the technical applications issues and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors to develop effective solutions. - Provide support to end-users, helping them resolve application-related issues. - Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to applications and processes. - Share knowledge and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS to optimize and support scalable and highly available cloud-based applications. - Adhere to industry and organizational security standards and compliance requirements. - Support and maintain effective integrated solutions to enhance application functionality and performance. - Work closely with other IT teams to resolve complex issues and ensure the overall stability and performance of applications. - Work closely with end-users to solve operations and engineering related problems though software and IT best practices. - Automate manual processes through scripting to streamline support processes and tasks.About the company
