Project Architect

to lead a wide range of projects. Our offices in New York are comprised of over 80 professionals, working in a highly collaborative environment, focused on public buildings including regional governmental facilities, international projects for USAID and other federal agencies, as well as K-12 schools. Our overall team of professionals provides innovative architectural design, building systems engineering, interior design, site design, civil design, and 3-D imaging services to clients regionally and globally. Our designers embrace advanced building methods and technologies that provide real-world solutions resulting in more efficient and sustainable projects.This position can be located in our Ithaca, NY. We offer a hybrid work environment with the flexibility to work from home and in the office.Your Role:

Develop designs for technically complex facilities domestically and internationallyDevelop skills to manage professional relationships and contractsProvide technical and design leadership for some of the industry's top interdisciplinary design teamsGain the skills to manage the financial aspects of projectsMentor junior level professionals, developing satisfying collegial relationshipsProvide meaningful input to firm leadership regarding excellence in professional, technical, and business practicesQualifications:

A Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture7-10 years of experience in the design of buildings, experience in K-12 facilities preferredNew York State License preferred or equivalent credentialWilling to travel occasionally for brief durationsLooking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, is organized, innovative, and enjoys working as a contributing part of a teamA satisfactory driving record in accordance with Tetra Tech's MVR policy is requiredAnticipated Hiring Range: $95,000 - $105,000. Please note that this range reflects the pay scale that Tetra Tech INE reasonably expects to pay for the role.
