This role also oversees the Information Technology team.What Will You Do?In order to grow and build a successful career with TSI, you will be responsible for:Oversee the organization's short- and long‐term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Analyze and interpret financial data to highlight the company's global financial performance and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions are in line with accounting standards.Direct and coordinate company financial reporting, planning, and budget management functions.Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance for each value stream and department by geographic region.Ensure proper financial controls are in place to safeguard the company’s assets.Guide financial decisions by establishing, maintaining, and enforcing effective policies and procedures globally.Responsible for the maintenance of financial records, preparation of reports, and financial compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.Gauge overall financial health using key financial metrics.Monitor actual financial performance against the budget, analyzing variances, and recommending corrective actions.Ensure timely and accurate filing of financial and tax reports, and oversee internal and external auditsStay updated with financial regulations and accepted practices.Evaluate financial trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenue and expenses.Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.Recruit, develop, and retain a highly effective and engaged finance team. Lead team through effective listening, coaching, and employee development. Effectively utilize the annual performance appraisal process.Other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesLeads and manages Finance function by establishing goals and objectives, measuring and monitoring overall team performance, provide coaching, guidance, and timely feedback regarding performance and behaviors.Conducts performance mid-year and annual reviews, provides feedback, and makes recommendations regarding compensation, promotion, training, performance improvement plans, discipline, and termination of individuals within the team.What Do You Need?RequiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting/FinanceCPA10+ years of experience as senior level Controller or similar position within the manufacturing or technology industry5+ years leading a finance or accounting team with various levels of professionalsFinance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Strong executive presence, able to build immediate credibility and trust with both internal and external stakeholders through effective communication skillsStrong leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead a team through change by leveraging effective coaching skills in a high-paced, evolving environmentCross-functional team management experience; highly collaborative team playerStrong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to derive insights from large data setsExperience with financial and accounting reporting systemsKnowledge of federal and state financial regulationsMBAGlobal Controller or similar positionOversight of Information Technology (IT) organizationWhat Can We Give You?At TSI, our employees are our most valuable assets, and we care about their health and happiness.
