You’ll learn more about this during the recruitment process.JOB SUMMARY:Manages all financial aspects of project development and fixed assets for Universal Destinations & Experiences divisions, including budgeting, financial planning, analysis and ensuring timeliness/accuracy of financial results and reporting. The Senior Manager, Finance – UDX Projects must partner with project team members and deliver high quality customer service while influencing decisions and driving financial results. Additional aspects of the role include participating in financial reviews with operators and executive Finance leadership, ensuring department deadlines are met and company policies are adhered to as well as identifying departmental process improvements.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct and supervise the overall applicable financial functions with specific focus on project related budgets and fixed assets at Universal Destinations & Experiences.Build short- and long-term financial plans, including pacing submissions, forecasts, and budgets and collaborate with operators on project portfolio budget.Participate in meetings with operators and provide support to develop/execute financial plans for project commitments and estimated final cost projections. Provide accounting classification guidance for project-related costs to operators in accordance with NBCU accounting policies.Direct and supervise the applicable month-end close processes, including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, data requests, etc. to ensure accuracy and compliance with NBCU policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Perform analysis on actual financial performance, extending findings to provide meaningful recommendations.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting of business results with variance commentary.Manage staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance management.Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree is required. Majors in Accounting, Finance preferred.EXPERIENCE:7+ years of Finance or Accounting experience; 5+ years Supervisory experience preferred; Equivalent combination of education and experience.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:CPA License, preferred.Your talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.
