Mortgage Loan Officer
As a Self-Generating Mortgage Loan Officer working remotely across the USA, you will have the unique opportunity to shape your success in the mortgage lending industry. This full-time role provides substantial earning potential, typically ranging from $120,000 to $500,000 annually, based on commission with competitive splits. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, adept at building networks, and eager to drive their own business by leveraging existing relationships and pursuing new opportunities vigorously. This position places a strong emphasis on self-motivation, strategic sales techniques, and a deep understanding of mortgage products to help clients achieve their homeownership dreams.
Compensation:
Commission-Based; $120,000.00 - $500,000.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities through effective networking and referral strategies. Conduct comprehensive consultations to assess clients' financial situations and mortgage needs, guiding them to suitable loan products. Manage the entire loan process from origination to close, including gathering documentation and liaising with underwriters. Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals to foster repeat and referral business. Stay informed of the latest mortgage products, trends, and compliance requirements to offer accurate advice to clients. Achieve and exceed set sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Minimum Position Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer with a verifiable track record of self-generated business. Active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license in the state(s) of operation. Strong existing network with real estate agents, financial advisors, and other industry professionals. Ability to independently manage schedules and priorities in a remote setting. Proficient in using mortgage-related software, CRM systems, and modern tech tools. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrative history of achieving or surpassing sales targets. Advanced knowledge of various mortgage lending products. Excellent grasp of the regulatory and compliance landscape in the mortgage industry. Proven ability to adapt and excel in a competitive environment. Strong analytical skills to assess credit reports and financial data. Skills: Exceptional networking and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain business relationships. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close deals effectively. Top-tier communication skills for clear and effective client and peer interactions.
