TDS has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation and expansion of GTB's product suite to position the transaction bank as a leading North American multi-currency treasury provider, enabling significant business growth across the TDS franchise. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the build-out of the next-generation of GTB's transaction banking capabilities to (i) extend a highly successful GTB business into the US; and (ii) to future-proof the business with a platform that can evolve at minimal cost as client and industry needs & expectations continue to evolve.This role will encompass responsibility for driving product development, innovation and enhancing client experience across a suite of Deposit Account and Liquidity Management capabilities that are critical enablers of sustainable future business growth and future-proofing the existing material business.Accordingly, GTB is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Owner with significant experience for Deposit Accounts & Liquidity Management for Transaction Banking in both the US & Canada. Candidate must be a self starter, who leads cross functional teams to drive and deliver transformative change by leading with the voice of the client.The role is responsible for driving the product strategy, roadmap, and features that will enable the digital experience for GTB's modernized cross-border platform, working as part of a cross-functional team including engineering, origination, risk management, operations & business services, and legal.Job Responsibilities
Define and execute a robust product strategy and roadmap for GTB's Deposit Account & Liquidity Management solution set on the next-generation North American treasury platform, while increasing scale of the business (particularly in the US) and with TDS' and GTB's overall strategy and goals.Work closely with GTB's Business Line Product Managers and other Product Owners to gather and analyze market research, client feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform the product roadmap and prioritization and identify market opportunities.Lead and support the ideation of Liquidity Management solutions, tailored for Corporate and FI clients, working with engineering teams to develop and launch those products, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery, and to manage trade-offs between scope, schedule, and resources.Communicate the holistic client-centric product vision, strategy, roadmap, success metrics and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including management, executives, clients, and partners both in TD Securities and across the Bank.Track key product metrics to measure product success, and champion a culture of continuous improvement to iterate on product features and design based on data and feedback.Ensure all new products and services meet local and international regulatory standards, as applicable, and are managed within a strong control and risk management framework.Champion a culture of continuous improvement, regularly reviewing and optimizing the product portfolio based on performance metrics.Job Requirements
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing Deposit Accounts & Liquidity Management solutions for Corporate and FI clients end-to-end across the product lifecycleExperience developing strategy and implementing change across a substantial business or portfolioAbility to make sound judgment calls relating to strategic decisions under time pressure and manage well in ambiguous situationsStrong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills to plan and execute change, leveraging extensive research and data including economic insights, market / industry insights, and client feedback7+ years in Wholesale Transaction Banking product managementExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability drive strategy implementation by effectively working with cross-functional teams and communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExperience in agile development methodologies and working with engineering teams to deliver high-quality transaction banking products for Corporate and FI client segmentsStrong influencing skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams and internal partners to deliver high-quality products on time, within budget, and that meet client related and internal KPIsBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related fieldDepth & Scope:
Works closely with senior leaders in articulating the strategic vision for the business to define GTB's customer value proposition and corresponding product offering suite, setting us up to compete effectively against the established global financial institutions (FIs)Stays up to date with the rapidly evolving payments and receivables market offerings including Fintech, Partners/Vendors and FIs. Understands changes across the payment landscape, from regional low value (ACH) to high value (Fedwire, CHIPS) and cross-border (SWIFT) payments, and other payment innovations (real-time payments, FedNow, ISO), uses this knowledge to identify where we can leverage solutions to creatively address a Corporate client's treasury needsHave a good understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape across North America, and able to break down complicated legal concepts to bring treasury solutions to our clientsBe the 'Voice of the Customer' by working with our clients to understand their needs and staying up to date on the latest changes in the treasury industry.
