We're looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead our efforts in water management, groundwater studies, and hydrogeological assessments within mining projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead hydrogeological assessments and groundwater studies for mining projects.Design and implement water management strategies that minimize environmental impact.Oversee groundwater modeling, monitoring, and field investigations.Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists to ensure effective integration of water management plans.Provide technical advice on dewatering, water supply, and impact mitigation.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and mining industry standards.Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project updates for internal teams and external stakeholders.Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).8+ years of experience in hydrogeology, with a focus on mining or water resources.Proficient in groundwater modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW).Strong knowledge of water resource management practices in the mining industry.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and work with cross-disciplinary teams.Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.If you are interested in this role, don't hesitate to reach out or apply in to learn more!
