Position Overview:We are seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Litigation Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide insights on complex legal issues.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Stay updated on legal developments and contribute to firm initiatives.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice in D.C., Maryland, or Virginia.
3+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset.
