Northrop Grumman Global Battle Management and Readiness (GBMR) Division is seeking a
C4 Contracts and Government Property Director
to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the C4 Missile Defense Business Unit headquartered in Huntsville, AL. The C4 Business Unit delivers innovative Battle Management mission capabilities extending into adjacent missions, arenas, customers and is a global leader in Advanced Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Management Systems.
This position will report to the GBMR Division Contracts and Property Director 1. The ideal candidate for this position will be co-located with the leadership team in Huntsville, AL. Candidates may also be considered in Linthicum, MD or McLean, VA with 25% travel to Huntsville.
The Contracts and Property Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Act as a strategic contractual and property leader, providing guidance to the business unit to compliantly achieve company and customer objectives.
Provide advice on risks, liabilities, and obligations; devise, recommend and implement creative and innovative solutions and negotiation strategies.
Abide by the highest ethical standards for personal conduct and provide the requisite leadership to ensure compliance with Northrop Grumman ethical standards and requirements, and company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate must be proactive, work independently, act with a sense of urgency, and possess excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. The ability to attract, retain and build a team will be critical to the candidate's success. Timely communications and quality work in a fast-paced environment are expected.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 10 plus years of relevant professional experience or a Master's Degree and 8 plus years of relevant professional experience.
Senior level knowledge in understanding and interpreting the FAR/DFARs and other U.S. Federal Government contract regulations.
Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior level internal and external customers.
Superior ability to apply functional experience and strategy to create effective contractual solutions.
Able and willing to travel (including international travel).
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures.
Extensive negotiation experience, to include incentive fee arrangements.
Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.
Experience with international contracts and offsets.
Salary Range:
$165,400 - $259,900
