Assistant Professor Faculty Position
Boston Children’s Hospital Division of Genetics and Genomics and Harvard Medical School Department of Genetics
The Division of Genetics and Genomics at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) and the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School (HMS) invite applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level. The appointee will be a full member and active participant in the Division of Genetics and Genomics at BCH and the HMS Department of Genetics. The appointee’s employment and laboratory space will be in the Division of Genetics and Genomics at BCH and the primary academic appointment will be in the HMS Department of Genetics.
The successful candidate is expected to direct innovative and independent research broadly relevant to pediatric human genetics, including human development and disease, tissue regeneration, stem cell biology, and novel therapies for pediatric disease. Candidates will be expected to participate in the teaching activities of the Departments of Genetics and Pediatrics. Applicants must hold a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D., or M.D. degree, have completed post-doctoral training, and have a strong record of research accomplishments.
