About the Position

The

Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant

position reports to a Finance Manager and will analyze financial information, prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Participate in the month-end close process, including responsibility for revenue reporting and P&L analyticsResearch, identify, and communicate key variances relating to financial and operational metricsComplete monthly journal entries and reconcile revenue within required timelineReconcile assigned balance sheet accounts in detail within required timelinePrepare and distribute monthly financial statementsWork with Operations teams, assisting them with accounting related service issuesReview producer commission reporting, including coordinating with business partners and responding to inquiriesParticipate in the monthly forecast process, including preparing analytics and coordinating with business partnersImprove upon existing and implement new reporting as requested by managementProvide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support business decisionsContribute to preparation of business presentations for all levels of managementParticipate in annual budget processAssist in integrating M&A deals into the existing operations, including tracking of earnout calculationsAssist with other special projects, as assigned.

Required Experience:Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting2-5 years of accounting and finance experience requiredStrong organizational and communication skillsProficient MS Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure to meet deadlinesHigh degree of accuracy with a good eye for detailProactive drive to get things done and anticipate what is neededDemonstrated ability to take initiative and achieve results in a fast-paced and changing environmentDesire to learn and growWillingness to work over 40 hours, particularly during the month-end close and budget process
