You will play an important role in the management of the Agency's Financial Reporting and Controls department. Responsibilities will include the coordination of monthly intercompany activity, month-end general ledger close as well as the monthly financial reporting to Publicis. The Senior Analyst assures that the general ledger complies with GAAP and the Publicis Corporate Policies (JANUS). You will also assist in the annual and interim external financial statement audits.Senior Analyst works independently and self-analyzes their data and reports. The Senior Analyst works to identify issues, develops POVs, and offers ideas to their manager to exceed targets and create efficiencies. You will interact with and build relationships with agency staff at all levels.Responsibilities

General Ledger

Help review all balance sheet account reconciliations as prepared Re:SourcesEnsure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, JANUS, and Agency Finance PoliciesPrepares multiple monthly journal entries in conformance to Publicis Company Policy (JANUS) and GAAPReview financials daily during month-end close to ensure accuracyAssist the Job Management team in researching issues on jobsFinancial Reporting

Help prepare the monthly Balance Sheet and P&L in the required format for upload into the Hyperion Reporting SystemEnsure the accuracy of the Hyperion reporting schedules that are sent to Publicis for consolidationPrepare the Corporate Accounting processes in compliance with all of the identified Internal Control (FMC) requirementsAssist manager with any new system implementations related to Financial ReportingAudits

Assist with external E&Y audits for Year-End, hard closes and revenue testingAssist with Publicis Internal auditsAssist with Financial Monitor Control, Test of Control and Walk-Through auditsAssist with earn-out auditsOther

Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist the Director of Financial Reporting and Controls on drafting common and efficient processes across PCNAPerform other special projectsQualifications

Education/ Work Experience and SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and CPA3 to 4 years relevant work experience with a preference for service industry backgroundProficiency with Microsoft applications specifically ExcelSAP and Hyperion knowledgeKnowledge of general accounting principlesStrong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of peopleExcellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and quickly in a fast-paced team environmentSelf-motivator, out-of-the-box thinker with a passion to drive reengineering throughout FinanceAdditional Information
