Legent Health is looking for a Director of Revenue Cycle to join our team. We seek talented partners transforming healthcare, one patient at a time.
Minimum Requirements
10 years of progressive revenue leadership experience; must have experience working within revenue cycle within a multi-site health system or centralized revenue cycle department for multiple site health care system.
Must be an expert in billing.
Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree highly preferred.
Experience working in a large complex organization preferred.
Strong ability to be agile and work in a lean environment.
Experience working with large, complicated billing systems in a revenue cycle department with multiple billing systems in a large healthcare system.
Experience with system conversions preferred.

Position Summary
This Director of Revenue Cycle will be responsible for direct oversight of billing, vendor management, and denials management for patient revenue along with working with the c-suite on critical revenue cycle initiatives. The Director will have extensive experience working with multiple complex billing systems and have been actively involved in system conversion, considered an expert in billing, and a strong leader and communicator.
Position Responsibilities
Maximize the organization’s financial performance by ensuring that the capture, billing, and collection of patient revenue is accurate, efficient, within all compliance guidelines, and timely.
Lead legacy A/R planning discussions and own follow up of the plan.
Hire outstanding talent that can work in high-performing teams and deliver advantaged results for the business.
Strong passion and hands-on technical experience with healthcare revenue cycle applications.
Experience with Cerner Patient Accounting a plus.
The ability to prioritize changing demands, multi-task, and creatively meet tight deadlines in addition to being extremely process-focused in a fast-paced environment is a must.
Develop and implement strategic plans and goals, collaboratively with key stakeholders to assess and improve the delivery of service excellence.
Define and track key performance indicators throughout EHR Implementation.
Recommendations for additional opportunities related to value objectives and key performance indicators post conversion.
Work with key stakeholders in the business to identify the right opportunities and put together a go-forward strategy related to financial and revenue cycle applications.
Ability to work well through ambiguity, confidence in making tough calls and leading through adversity with a sharp focus on the eventual right outcomes.
Partner and work on system-wide initiatives to improve and strengthen the entirety of revenue cycle.
Understand and consult to revenue cycle impact of design decisions.
Assist vendor in future state revenue cycle workflow design across venues, service lines, and departments.
Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure that the team is completely aligned to the business objectives and can do the job effectively.
Develop a strong set of leaders that can drive success for the individual teams.
A focus on outstanding business outcomes with effective and fast decision making that considers the interests of all three key stakeholders - employees, customers, and shareholders.
Build strong inter-personal relationships with peers and other key stakeholders that can help with the smooth implementation of new applications and technologies related to the financial systems and revenue cycle applications.
Analyze all processes to look for innovative solutions to improve, streamline or build upon systems and processes.
