$118,000 - $130,500 (depends on licensure and experience) Who are we? required. Master’s degree in social work, social welfare, psychology, marriage, family and child counseling, and/or marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university. At least

five (5) years of management/supervision experience

is required. Experience in behavioral health setting working with low income and/or homeless individuals is required. Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, co-occurring disorders, and trauma interventions is required. Experience with substance use residential programs is preferred. LA County SAPC contract program experience strongly preferred. Access to LA County SAGE system is preferred. ASAM Certification 1 & 2 is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability is preferred. ( Director of DMC Programs and RBH ) will provide direct clinical and administrative supervision for behavioral health staff providing services along with staff providing supportive services to ensure they effectively meet the social and emotional needs of patients as well as the needs of all funding sources. The

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

( Director of DMC Programs and RBH ) will work with multidisciplinary teams within the agency to ensure that patients are linked to a full range of medical and support services to ensure maintenance of comprehensive holistic health and well-being. The position also manages the day-to-day operations of substance misuse services. Responsibilities Develops and oversees operations of outpatient and residential services and other special programs assigned by the Chief Executive Officer or designee. This includes creating and managing budgets for Drug Medi-Cal programs, RBH, and SAMSHA grants. Is a member of JWCH Management team. Hires, supervises, and trains LCSW, MSW, Substance Abuse Counselors and other positions while overseeing outpatient and residential substance misuse services, including clinical, outreach, administrative, fiscal, and compliance functions. Assesses patient population needs. Then develops and implements programs including clinical, financial, administrative, and compliance components. Ensures contract compliance with Substance Use Prevention and Control (SAPC) Drug-Medi-Cal, Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH), and other requirements; SAMHSA PPW program and other federal, state, and local grants. Ensures patient files and cases are managed in accordance with contract and Drug Medi-Cal requirements. Facilitates case conferences on a monthly basis to ensure patient files and cases are managed in accordance with contract, program, and Drug Medi-Cal requirements. Represents JWCH and the behavioral health services at required meetings. Coordinates and plans programs and activities to meet the social and emotional needs of JWCH patients. When needed, conducts therapeutic treatment with patients, including intake, comprehensive assessment of client’s available resources and needs, ongoing therapy/counseling, and develop/review an individual-based treatment plan. Supports client involvement in planning, implementing, and evaluating the program. Will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that JWCH patients are linked to a full range of medical and support services to ensure maintenance of comprehensive holistic health and well-being. Available for on-call after-hours to address the needs of patients in crisis, and works actively with the providers, LCSW, MSW, and Substance Use counselors to best assist patients participating in residential program. Complete data collection forms and prepare reports as required by the program. Utilizes data and outcome evaluation information for program development and quality improvement activities. Maintains quality assurance standards of the program. Works closely with Program Manager/Assistant Director with all aspects of the Outpatient, Residential and RBH programs. Engage regularly with the Quality Assurance and Evaluation officer and Program Manager/Assistant Director to uphold chart compliance standards and monitor staff productivity to ensure delivery of required service hours to patients. Ensures patients receive clinical and therapeutic services as required by SAPC Bulletin No. 18-13 Residential Treatment Programs, including weekends and holidays for residential. Manage staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures to maintain high-quality service delivery. Review and revise Continuous Quality Improvement plans (CQI) on an annual basis, implement CQI monitoring and meetings according to CQI plans. Other duties as assigned.
