The University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology is recruiting for a full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty member on the Full-time clinical faculty track specializing primarily in the care of patients with lymphoma. The position would be at the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level based at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center – University of Washington Medical Center-M and faculty rank will be commensurate based on qualifications. This position will hold an annual appointment that aligns with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.The position will focus primarily on the clinical care of patients with lymphoma, joining a well-established and high-volume lymphoma service with a robust clinical research portfolio. The ideal candidate will actively engage in the group’s research and teaching priorities, while facilitating delivery of exceptional clinical care to cancer patients at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center.The University of Washington faculty strive to deliver equitable healthcare in an environment that celebrates diversity. Other compensation associated with this position will include Monthly Additional Compensation (MAC) from the UWP with a range of: $12,500 - $18,334 per month ($150,000 - $220,008 annually).Anticipated start date would be April 1, 2025.Qualifications
Requirements include MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) and fellowship training in Medical Oncology and Hematology (or foreign equivalent). In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
