The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women's Health (OBGYN & WH) is seeking a dynamic Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist with solid clinical and academic experience to join the faculty of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Medical Staff of Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, New York. They will join the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division within one of the largest OBGYN & WH departments and residency programs in the country. Experience and expertise in fetal medicine/ultrasound from an AIUM certified facility is preferred along with a strong aptitude for, and commitment to, high risk, complex cases.THE DIVISION DESCRIPTION:

The Division provides a wide range of high-risk reproductive care services and provides fetal medicine ultrasound diagnostic services across three campuses including:Early Access Prenatal CenterMaternal Fetal Medicine Cardiology Joint ProgramHIV in Pregnancy ProgramFetal Medicine ProgramReproductive Infectious DiseasesFourth Trimester Integrated ClinicReproductive PsychiatryHealth Equity Task Force Social Determinants of Health InitiativeThe Maternal Fetal Medicine division provides care to patients throughout the Bronx and southern Westchester counties. There are currently 9 attendings, 8 Fellows, and 1 PA dedicated to inpatient service. In collaboration with the Generalist division, the Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists co-manage the Labor & Delivery service across two hospitals with levels 3 and 4 NICU, averaging 5,100 total deliveries per year.THE DEPARTMENT:

The Department is committed to scientific discovery and to education, with one of the largest residency programs (46 trainees) and fellowships in every discipline, five of which are ACGME accredited (MFM, GYNONC, REI, FPMRS, and Complex Family Planning). We have an accredited residency in Reproductive Genetics and offer a MIGS fellowship.THE CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate must have completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The candidate must be able to obtain a New York Medical License. They will have experience and expertise in fetal medicine/ultrasound preferably from an AIUM certified facility; and have a strong aptitude for, and commitment to, high risk, complex labor and delivery clinical services.THE ENVIRONMENT:
