Care Team Applications
(CTA) team provides web services and web applications which synchronize data between Nevro’s products and other systems. As the CTA team Delivery Manager, you ensure high-quality planning and execution of software deliverables, from concept through to production & maintenance. You support the team’s daily activities and inform the team’s efforts towards continuous improvement, particularly regarding the software development lifecycle.
Your focus is on enhancing collaboration & practices within the team and across functions. You run scrum ceremonies, resolve blockers, and ensure the team adheres to best practices while driving accountability and ownership. Additionally, you maintain strong communication with stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of progress and any issues that arise.
You collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan development efforts, assess risks, and prioritize tasks. You have a background in software development which allows you to better understand the engineers’ activities and guide them in effectively delivering quality software.
Primary Responsibilities:
Run scrum ceremonies for 1-2 agile teams
Manage a change control process for unplanned work & change requests
Ensure engineers are effectively making daily progress on their commitments
Ensure blockers or issues impacting the team are identified
Help identify who or what is needed to address blockers
Facilitate engineers getting what they need
Ensure adherence to agreed-upon (non-technical) software development lifecycle practices by the team members, e.g. ticket hygiene, developer testing, appropriate documentation, definition of done...
Provide status updates to program managers and/or stakeholders as needed
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of CTA products and releases, ensuring successful execution to support new product launches at Nevro
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure that when CTA projects entail cross-functional engagement with other teams, that engagements are effective and efficient
Identify development team or cross-functional dependencies that may impact projects. Work with the team to define possible solutions or requests that should be discussed with project management or stakeholders, and outline the issues and solutions or requests to those parties
Identify best practices that will help the CTA team to improve the quality & efficiency of the software development lifecycle
Work closely with the quality and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with documentation requirements and adherence to quality standards for CTA software development
Other duties as assigned
Role Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Delivery Manager or Management role for software development teams that implement web services and/or web applications
Skills and Knowledge:
Expert at applying Agile Software Development methodologies (Scrum & Kanban) to a dev team’s activities
Experienced at developing high quality cross-functional engagement across software development teams
Experienced at measuring & meaningfully improving the technology-agnostic aspects of a Team’s SDLC
Experienced at applying Agile Software Development methodologies for Software as Medical Device and/or Medical Device Data System development
Familiarity with the FDA Submission process, ISO Requirements and QSR requirements preferred
Past experience as a web service or web application engineer preferred
Target Pay Range:
$115,230 - $158,442 - the final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. *Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
