The ProServe Business Operations team supporting AWS Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking an experienced, self-directed Business Operations Manager with strong operational, organizational, financial acumen, collaboration, and communication skills to support the strategic and analytical needs of the growing team. This is a high business impact role for a candidate who is passionate about driving operational excellence to maximize goal attainment across the business.AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.Key job responsibilities
Trusted Advisor to Leadership
Provide strategic guidance to ProServe Business Leaders, bringing deep knowledge of business operations and proven execution of implementing best practices.Provide data-driven insights on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and standardized business metrics. Manage dashboards, regional reports and executive review documents, providing insights and partnership with our leaders to help look around the corner and plan for the future.Lead and review the end-to-end execution of annual planning process which includes, bookings, revenue, headcount, utilization and goal planning.Establish baseline metrics/reports to support the development of new practices and goals, as necessary.
Business Management and Analytics
Stakeholder management; act as a business partner to Professional Services leadership team and executives, providing insights to help shape the strategy of the business.Lead business reviews, including pipeline and engagement hygiene inspection and deep dive analysis into gaps to goal; support strategies and initiatives to build and measure overall business health.Implement, monitor and analyze success metrics and drive predictability in our operations, with an analytical mindset and technical skills.Act as point of contact and subject matter expert on the business, providing guidance and serving as a secondary escalation point for the ProServe Sales and Delivery team members and business partners across NAMER.Business planning; establish business rhythm and cadence, leading meetings through deliverables, outcomes and actions.Analytics; establish baseline metrics and analytics, collaborate with leadership team to track and report all key performance indicators against annual, quarterly and monthly goals.Program Management; cross collaborate with technical and non-technical departments to drive innovation in processes and tools.

5+ years of Microsoft Excel experienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar softwareExperience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
