The Role:
Syndax Pharmaceuticals is looking for a motivated Senior Business Analyst to support our IT - G&A function. Reporting to the Director of IT - G&A Business Partner, the Senior Business Analyst is responsible for delivering and supporting internal applications and projects. This role will partner with IT Operations, vendors and business process owners across our Finance, People, Legal, and Communication teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead functional and technical requirements gathering and document process models/workflows for new projects and enhancement requests.
Administrator for the NetSuite ERP system for Finance teams including access provisioning, deprovisioning, enhancements (e.g. workflow updates), reporting, etc.
Configure systems following appropriate change and release management processes. Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans; communicate progress and escalate issues appropriately.
Manage the evidence collection for IT’s controls for SOX compliance.
Provide ongoing support (access provisioning, issue resolution, integration updates, enhancement configuration, and report development) for IT-owned applications; includes ADP, Greenhouse Recruiting, NetSuite, Flock HRIS, Concur and ContractPodAI.
Work closely with software vendors in the planning, design, and testing of application changes, including application upgrades.
Create and deliver knowledge articles/documentation for the IT Helpdesk and end-user training materials for the business stakeholders.
Desired Experience/Education and Personal Attributes:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
8+ years’ experience supporting systems for internal teams.
3+ years as a NetSuite administrator.
Preference for applicants with experience with HRIS (e.g. ADP, Greenhouse), Finance (e.g. Blackline, NetSuite, Concur), Collaboration (e.g. SharePoint), and/or Reporting/Visualization systems.
Experience with databases and data analysis using Excel and preferably PowerBI.
Understanding of integrations; experience with an Integration Platform as a System (IPaaS) preferred.
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and systems.
Outstanding collaboration and communication skills.
Location : Syndax has offices in Waltham, MA and New York City and has a dispersed workforce across the United States.
