Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.Preferred qualifications:MBA, Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory.Experience in leading complex projects and delivering outcomes.Ability to identify and assess opportunities, with an understanding of their impact on business growth.Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguity and design creative solutions to complex challenges.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and gain alignment among diverse stakeholders.
About the job:The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.In this role, you will play a key role in shaping the commercial and go-to-market strategy for innovative products like Smart Home, Google TV, and Android Automotive. As a strategic thinker with a generalist focus, you will:
Collaborate with partnerships teams on partner pipeline processes, agreement modeling, negotiation strategies, and new business opportunities.Drive execution through annual planning, Objectives and Key Results (OKR) tracking, and ongoing performance reporting.This role offers the opportunity to make an impact across a diverse portfolio of products.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$261,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact, managing multiple work streams and stakeholders across different departments.Identify emerging opportunities and assess their potential impact on business growth. Provide data-driven insights on options, risks, and upsides to inform decision-making.Develop and implement creative solutions to complex business challenges, demonstrating excellent judgment in ambiguous situations. Address systemic issues to optimize processes and outcomes.Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders across the organization, building consensus and driving alignment on strategic decisions. Act as a subject-matter-expert, offering guidance and support to cross-functional teams.Leverage data analysis and synthesis to identify actionable insights that drive business growth. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders to inform strategic planning and execution.
