Director, Program OperationsClearance: Able to get a clearanceLocation: HQ - Fairfax, VAHybrid Remote– 3 days onsite per weekNationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking an experienced Director of Program Operations, focused on providing overall authority and responsibility for managing and executing a portfolio of contracts. This potential opportunity requires at least 8-10 years of experience leading, implementing, and managing programs and/or projects in the Federal Government / DOD sector.Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a portfolio for programs that are varied in size. Daily activities will be tailored to the specific needs of the programs/projects in the portfolio.Provide Program Management including Contract Management, Financial Management, Resource Management, Client / Stakeholder Management, Staff Leadership, Execution Strategy Leadership, and Corporate Governance.Provide project management, including project plan, work breakdown structure (WBS), Gantt Chart, RACI Matrix, communication plan, migration schedules, training materials, meeting cadence, monitoring, and tracking status. Engage with team members, the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and other stakeholders. Monitor project progress and deliver weekly status reports to primary stakeholders.Growth activities include managing re-competes of current work, identifying growth opportunities, and developing capture plans. Other activities include opportunity research, presenting capabilities to clients, and developing capture strategies.Requirements:
10+ years of professional experience as a Program Manager/DirectorUnderstanding of contracts and project financesSenior-level experience managing staff.Senior-level experience working with senior-level clientsExperience in participating in growth activities.Exceptional written and oral communication skills and demonstrated capabilities to develop executive-level presentations for senior leadership.Possess exceptional client and stakeholder relationship management skills.Travel approximately 10%Education:
Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferredCertifications:
