Chief Operating Officer

Job OverviewHackmann Lawn & Landscape is seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organization's ongoing operations and procedures. As a key member of the team, the COO will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing productivity, and ensuring that the company's strategic goals are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of business development, and a proven track record in operations management.ResponsibilitiesOrganize, run, and document department lead meetings. Problem solve and manage the Hackmann team to maintain company growth. Includes human resource, finance, and operations issues.Manage data and communication systems for company efficiency. Work with subcontractors and vendors as needed.Provide job loss and revenue reports, develop and create plans to meet team and company goals.Plan and execute quarterly training, document employee performance, and complete employee reviews.Enforce company policies for employees and vendors, manage employee licensing, maintain compliance with Hackmann handbook and labor laws.Develop and maintain job descriptions, create compensation strategies, and outline training materials for Hackmann employees.Manage the staffing process, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.RequirementsProven experience in a senior operational leadership role, preferably as a COO or similar position.Strong background in business development and operations management.Excellent strategic planning skills with the ability to forecast future trends.Demonstrated experience in supervising teams and managing cross-functional projects.Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.Solid understanding of budgeting principles and financial analysis.Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Join us as we strive for excellence in our operations while creating a culture of innovation and growth.
