Job Description

The

Associate Director, Compliance & eCommerce

reports to the Director, Financial Systems, eCommerce and Compliance and analyzes and evaluates University business processes, controls, systems, and compliance activities. The Associate Director will direct the use of eCommerce payment solutions to ensure accountability and that initiatives are in conformity with University policies; and provide guidance in all operational aspects related to the collection and depositing of cash and cash equivalents, processing of funds utilizing approved third party eCommerce products, credit card merchant services and PCI_DSS compliance. In addition, the position will support the University's continuous monitoring program efforts, execute operational tasks related to PeopleSoft Financials reporting, assist with various financial compliance requirements, and participate in the review and testing of new system implementations or upgrades to ensure the integrity of all financial data. The position will also provide support on all financial applications used by the University's Controller's Office including participating on system implementation teams, executing accounting and technology test plans as well as recommending and implementing enhancements in University business processes to improve operational efficiencies, controls and accountability. Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $104,500 to $130,600; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent; Master's Degree in Business Administration, preferred. Minimum of five years progressively responsible accounting or business systems analysis experience, including experience with non-profit institutional accounting or public accounting firms. eCommerce application experience required. Experience using PeopleSoft or other financial accounting system, preferred. Understanding of financial statements is preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, consolidate complex data into concise management reports, and plan, prioritize, manage, and meet deadlines.
