DescriptionAcara Solutions has been providing advanced manufacturing and technology organizations nationally with our staffing industry offerings for 65 years. Our HW/SW network security client that has been around for 30 years, has an opening for a Chief Operations Officer to join their firm in their Plano, TX HQ.This mid-sized firm is in a growth mode, expecting to add as much as 50% additional headcount in the next several months. The owner needs someone to come aboard to help manage day-to-day operations and bring fresh new technology ideas to the organization.This position requires experience within a technology hardware manufacturer (think CISCO server room products) with a strong operations background. Looking for someone that wants to build & create, how to put a team together to design, build, and take it to market. The CEO is looking for a very technical COO. Someone that understands IT, hardware projects, software projects, technical marketing, etc. This person needs to be able to speak the language of these groups in the company so he/she can keep them aligned and in the same direction.The CEO/Owner is a very technical individual. He needs a duplicate of himself to take over a lot of his current operational responsibilities and potentially replace most of his duties in the future (succession planning).We are seeking a future-focused Chief Operations Officer to spearhead our rapid growth and market expansion. As the CEO's key strategic partner, you'll transform visionary goals into actionable plans, driving operational excellence across all business units. Lead the charge in scaling operations, entering new markets, and optimizing processes to support aggressive growth targets. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with experience in high-growth environments, adept at managing change and seizing opportunities in dynamic markets.Collaborate closely with the CEO to develop and implement strategic plans for organizational growth and expansion.Oversee and lead day-to-day operations of the organization.Spearhead initiatives that keep the company at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements.Explore initiatives to diversify the company's offerings or expand into adjacent markets to future-proof the business.Lead cross-functional initiatives that leverage diverse skill sets to solve complex, future-oriented challenges.Cultivate a team of top-tier "A players", across all levels of the organization, who are passionate about innovation and bringing the future to life.Implement regular cross-functional leadership meetings to align goals, share insights, and solve complex problems collaboratively.Create an environment that encourages calculated risk-taking and inspires team members to push the technical boundaries.Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:Bachelor's degree ideally in Engineering, but Operations Management, Business, or similar will suffice.Min 10 years of experience in operations management within a

hardware high-tech manufacturer
