Fulltime/Direct HireOur client is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive groundbreaking growth and expansion, revolutionizing their current and future portfolio of cutting-edge products. This pivotal role requires a leader who will champion technological innovation while navigating the limitless possibilities of the industry's next evolution. If you thrive on pioneering next-generation technology and are passionate about integrating emerging innovations, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, into network security and beyond, this is the opportunity for you. A strong background in the network traffic industry-specifically with high-speed, non-cloud-based network traffic units-and expertise in both IT (Software Development) and Engineering, particularly in PCB and chip design, is essential.Key Responsibilities:

Lead the selection and management of chipsets and processors for new product developments and evaluate and recommend the most suitable technologies based on performance, cost, and future scalability.Technical Vision : Challenge the status quo. Define and communicate our technological future to project stakeholders, including the executive team, cross-functional leadership, and employees.Talent Development : Recruit, develop, and train a team of top technical talent to bring your vision to life.Emerging Technology Expert : Discover new and emerging technologies and provide direction on how we can implement them into our current and future products.Product Development Oversight : Guide the research and development team to ensure we are creating cutting-edge products and solutions for networks.Partnerships and Collaboration : Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with technology vendors, strategic partners, and other relevant organizations. Tell us who we should be working with and what they can bring to our offerings.Technology Investment Planning : Assess and prioritize technology investments to ensure optimal allocation of resources.Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology development and implementation.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (required).Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior technology role, such as VP of Technology, Director of Engineering, or CTO.Extensive experience in selecting and managing chipsets and processors, with a deep understanding of their impact on product performance and scalability.Extensive background in Hardware and Software technologies.Working knowledge of designing and building the physical network switches, taps, spans, traffic aggregation, etc.Extensive experience in leading technology teams and managing large-scale technology projects.Demonstrated experience in strategic technology planning and execution.Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing new technologies.Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Master's degree or MBA (preferred).
