About this team
The goal of the Product Design team at
Super.com
is to bring our mission to life by creating opportunities for everyone to put more money in their pocket. We are a small but mighty group of thoughtful and collaborative craftspeople who put our customers first in everything we do. We support our cross-functional partners by helping to uncover and articulate ambitious product strategies, untangle complex and ambiguous business problems, and provide compelling, intuitive, delightful solutions that solve our customer’s problems. There’s a lot of work to be done designing new features from “0-1”, optimizing existing experiences, and elevating the quality of our product. If you’re looking for a chance to mold a new product and have a big impact - this is it!
About the role
This Senior Product Designer plays a key role in designing experiences for our Super+ members. Super+ is our membership program that helps our customers earn cash, save when they spend, and get rewarded on everyday purchases. You’ll be part of the Product Design team, which works across multiple Super+ product verticals. You will work closely with your cross-functional partners to define your team’s quarterly strategy, leveraging your experience in leading human-centered design processes to articulate customer-focused business opportunities. Independently, and in partnership with data and research partners, you will leverage data and user insights to deeply understand user needs, then directly apply those insights to designs that deliver clear and measurable value, both to our customers and to the business. You will craft functional, delightful, and impactful end-to-end experiences that span mobile and desktop. You are an adaptable member of the larger product team, both able to identify and integrate new information as well as contribute to and anticipate product and business decisions. Finally, you are an empathetic and critical thinker, considerate of the impact and scope of your initiatives within the context of the wider customer journey.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including peers in product, engineering, data, business to identify key initiatives, determine metrics of success, and then craft end-to-end experiences that solve customers' problems and meet business objectives.
Leverage research like data analytics, UXR insights, and competitive analyses to build strong perspectives that guide your team towards making thoughtful, effective, and efficient decisions.
Continuously improve not just the Super+ member experience, but the
Super.com
experience as a whole, by raising the bar for quality and by collaborating with, providing feedback to, mentoring, and coaching your Product Designer teammates.
Use Figma to iterate and create static designs and high quality interactive prototypes to share with stakeholders and partners for alignment, as well as for gathering insights and investigating concepts with users and customers.
Contribute to the ongoing maintenance, growth, and care of the core
Super.com
design system library in Figma. Enhance design and engineering efficiencies, ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders. Anticipate feedback. Set and manage expectations. Build consensus and alignment amongst conflicting data and viewpoints. Guide stakeholders to the most efficient use of their time for you and your team’s objectives.
Contribute to and evolve existing processes that empower you and your team to discover, define, and deliver the highest quality experiences.
Preferred Experience
4-5+ years of Product Design experience on teams of product and engineering peers.
Managing relationships with additional cross-functional teams (business, data, marketing), external stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Experience working on “0-1” consumer products in fast-paced, agile environments, delivering high quality designs within rapid iteration cycles.
Experience informing and driving design, product, and business decisions by leveraging existing user research and quantitative data.
Experience conducting a range of moderated and unmoderated usability tests and producing analyses on your results.
