This includes leveraging existing data and technology as well as scoping and defining new technology requirements. This role will deliver support to all departments and end users related to application implementation, maintenance, enhancements, and overall performance.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Promotes superior guest serviceMaintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilaniLead support efforts for end user inquiries related to application incidents and new requests utilizing a ticketing system to create, modify, track, and update ticketsPrioritize, schedule, and implement defect fixes and enhancementsLead the communication with key stakeholders regarding impact, planning, and timing of defect resolutionCoordinate, lead and implement preventive maintenance, patches, and upgradesProvide Tier III support for escalations related to application functionality, installation, and upgrade requirementsDocument solutions and results, analyze trends, make recommendations to improve process, and implement change to mitigate risk of future defectsProject Management – Gather business requirements and translate into technical requirements, create standard PM documentation, facilitate and lead cross-departmental projects with multiple stakeholdersQuality assurance and testing – Create use cases, unit tests, and test solutions in support of both existing and new applications under consideration for purchaseTraining Support – Provide support to business partners and HR training organization related to assessing application training needs on functionality, features, and best practicesTechnical Documentation – Create and maintain application overviews, capturing software requirements, data flow diagrams, logical models, and infrastructure requirements. Also responsible for the creation and maintenance of application security matrices, process and procedure documentation, troubleshooting documentation, FAQs, business continuity plans, and vendor support informationVendor Management – Support third party applications, integrations, and manage the vendor relationship related to account management and escalationsCommunication – Provide timely, appropriate communication on application or project status based on target audience. Provide 24X7 support for applications within portfolio.Continuous Improvement - Actively pursue opportunities, as an individual and as part of a group, to improve knowledge, tools and processes for applications within portfolioShared Services – Partner with and support established enterprise Shared Services agreement and participate in collaboration efforts amongst all business entities.Responsible for the strict adherence to the Information Technology department compliance policies, internal control procedures, Washington State Gaming Control Board control specifications and the casino’s policies and procedures.Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers, and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for resultsIdentify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategiesLead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and vendor relationshipsInforms and makes educated recommendations on business process improvementsAble to ask tough questions and push back professionally and creatively to ensure the success of the organization and projectsHas an in-depth understanding of the network and infrastructure of the applications supportedPerforms other related duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:College diploma or University degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems and

three (3) years’ relevant work experience in an enterprise environment and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating four (4) years of progressive IT experienceMust possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environmentExpert proficiency in Smartsheet and effectively managing a project within SmartsheetExperience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniquesExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExperience managing complex IT-related projects impacting multiple stakeholdersExperience with assessing training needs, creating training plans, and delivering trainingAbility to create and maintain technical documentationKnowledge of trends in technology relating to software applicationsProficiency with SQL server and SSRSExcellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skillsAbility to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly languageHighly motivated and self-directedAbility to absorb new ideas and concepts quicklyComfortable with changing priorities and a fast-paced environmentAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentExperience working in a collaborative, large, diverse environmentStrong guest service orientationMinimal travel may be requiredRequires weekend, evening work, working different shifts, and flexible hoursMust be able to walk, stand, reach, and grab for an 8-hour shiftMust be willing to work in a smoking environment when on the casino floorIlani is not an e-Verify employer.
