Location: Wilsonville, OregonPosition Role Type: HybridGlobal Trade (GT) requirements exist to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to economic sanctions and the export and import of products, services, and technical data.The Avionics Associate Director of Technology Management is primarily responsible for leading a team of Global Trade Technology Managers that proactively work with the business to provide strategic Global Trade (GT) technology management guidance in support of business objectives/programs while maintaining compliance with all applicable GT regulations and company policies and procedures. Our Technology Management team is responsible for the review and implementation of policies and procedures across the Avionics organization.This position will partner closely with Avionics emerging technologies and the Central Technology Management organization to drive the right process forward. Working with the Director and other Avionics GT leaders, this position works to set the direction of the business under the Collins GT umbrella.As an Associate Director in GT, you will be responsible for a team that focuses on all aspects of the Collins Global Trade Technology Management Program (training, policies, processes, implementation, classifications & metrics); engaging and developing the classification focal network, program development, classification audit program, and continuous improvement. Project management and collaboration will be key to this role. This role will partner with other GT leaders in areas of Value Stream Management, Authorizations, and Digital Technology as well as the business to further our program and meet the business needs. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in Global Trade and must be familiar with both exports and imports.
