Amazon.com Services LLC, Seattle, Washington, us, 98127

Job Description

The Amazon Publisher Monetization Analytics (APMA) team is looking for an experienced science and analytics leader who will own defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Amazon Publisher Monetization (APM) - Video, Devices, Twitch, Audio, and Stores business analytics. Amazon Publisher Monetization Analytics (APMA) is the first call for all things publisher monetization data - from ad delivery triage to sell-through optimization and APM-wide strategic initiatives. We serve an indispensable role as the only analytics team with a comprehensive end-to-end view of the publisher business. Enabling this objective requires converging complex, decentralized, and fragmented data sources into streamlined, actionable insights to drive the business forward. This provides an opportunity for the right individual to be the central driving force behind the most visible, ambiguous, and impactful initiatives. To succeed in this role, you must think like a customer-obsessed product owner and operate as a proven strategic analytics partner. This role will require you to consistently balance achieving long-term objectives with delivering immediate results. To achieve this, you will be required to take a pragmatic approach and make daily high-judgment decisions. This means that you are able to identify opportunities to force multiply, earn trust to make untenable tradeoff decisions, and drive high standards throughout partner organizations. You will zoom out to write 'think big' documents and zoom in to write technical data analyses. You will surface actionable data insights to unlock new customer-obsessed opportunities. Key Job Responsibilities

Lead a team of BIEs and Data Scientists to provide stakeholders with access to E2E Amazon Publisher Monetization data sets and actionable strategic analyses. Envision and implement a multi-year roadmap for hands-off-the-wheel access to data and insights, including: self-service tooling, dashboard standardization, and GenAI integration. Deliver strategic analyses to senior leaders to shape the future of the publisher monetization business on initiatives such as audiences, IVA, supply optimization, auction dynamics, deal construction, and ad delivery. Generate greater team throughput by developing and implementing a scalable analytics lifecycle and coinciding set of standardized analytics mechanisms (e.g. BRD/LLD/HLD templates, monthly mechanism reviews, etc.). Partner with engineering teams to dive deep on shared roadmaps for proper instrumentation, data pipeline, and taxonomy development. Envision and implement an operating model to support data science, starting with building iterative proof of concepts for video publishers. Form and cultivate strategic partnerships with Amazon Publishers, SupplyTech, Ads Forecasting, DemandTech, and Sales/Finance partners. Partner with Finance to drive improvements to, expand, standardize, and automate xBR decks. Minimum Qualifications

PhD or Masters degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, operations research, or in a highly quantitative field. The ideal candidate will have experience leveraging business intelligence and advanced analytics methodologies to influence product and business roadmaps.
